Under this research theme, our focus is on improving the diagnosis, treatment, and management of diseases. Researchers in this area are working on the development of innovative therapeutic strategies, including personalized medicine and new biomedical technologies, as well as improving our understanding of how disease arises. This theme brings together experts from various fields, including medicine, psychology, pathology, nursing, pharmacy, machine learning and healthcare administration, to enhance the overall quality of care.

The purpose of this study is to explore the potential for psychedelic therapy using psilocybin and MDMA to improve symptoms of treatment resistant OCD, and to determine whether there is any pre-post change in electroencephalography (EEG) measurements following psychedelic exposure.

This project aims to develop evidence-based guideline for abdominal paracentesis. It will explore ultrasound techniques, coagulopathy and the liver in relation to abdominal paracentesis.
