You'll find us primarily located in the Australian Capital Territory, in the inner-city suburb of Acton and at the two Canberra based hospitals. We also have a presence in the following locations:
- South-Eastern New South Wales
- The Northern Territory / Central Australia
- Sydney
- Melbourne
Canberra teaching locations
All our students undertake at least part of their learning at the Australian National University Acton campus. Students have access to a large suite of teaching and study rooms with the latest conference technology, well-equipped common rooms, state-of-the-art research laboratories and facilities across the main campus.
For our medical students, clinical teaching also occurs at the Canberra Hospital at Garran and the North Canberra Hospital at Bruce, also known as the Canberra Clinical School.
Rural New South Wales teaching locations
We have six rural teaching and training locations in south-eastern New South Wales, collectively known as the Rural Clinical School. Facilities and accommodation for our students undertaking clinical placements at hospitals and general practices can be found in Eurobodalla, Bega, Cooma, Cowra, Goulburn and Young.
Northern Territory Teaching locations
In addition to conducting teaching in the ACT and at sites across the south east region of NSW, the Rural Clinical School also teaches in the Northern Territory. The map highlights where teaching and placements occur in Central Australia.
Sydney teaching locations
Through a partnership with the Sydney Adventist Hospital in Wahroonga, our medical students have the opportunity to undertaking clinical placements with expert clinicians at this private hospital. This teaching location is known as the Sydney Clinical School.
