The Canberra Hospital campus is our metropolitan based clinical teaching unit. The Canberra Clinical School at Canberra and North Canberra Hospitals offers diverse health services, modern facilities, and state-of-the-art pathology and imaging, supporting the health needs of ACT and NSW regions.

Canberra Hospital offers a range of health services through its modern 600 bed tertiary hospital. It provides acute, sub-acute, primary and community‐based health services to almost 500,000 residents of the Australian Capital Territory (ACT).

It also services the surrounding Southern New South Wales region, including the Bega Valley, Bombala, Cooma-Monaro, Eurobodalla, Goulburn, Mulwaree, Palerang, Queanbeyan, Snowy River, Upper Lachlan Shire and the Yass Valley.

The clinical services offered at the Canberra Hospital are underpinned by state-of-the-art pathology, and imaging services.

The 250-bed North Canberra Hospital is located in the suburb of Bruce and is a teaching hospital. It primarily services the health needs of North Canberra, Belconnen and Gunghalin communities and surrounding areas in the ACT and NSW.

Students at Canberra and North Canberra Hospitals receive diverse, high-quality clinical training through rotations, placements, and seminars.
