About
This project examines the effective ingredients of high-quality, safe health consultations that are shared across video, telephone, or face-to-face consultation, in populations with varying uptake of telehealth. Through transdisciplinary linked studies addressing communication and decision-making, we explore the attributes and outcomes of simulated consultations on high-risk medication use for people with English fluency, and people with limited English proficiency. The two arms of this project are centred in cognitive psychology and linguistics. The outcomes of this project will include a novel decision-supporting tool for safe telehealth consultations across diverse English proficiency levels.
