Cognitive Assessment Services

The clinic provides cognitive and academic assessments for adults and children with concerns about learning.

The clinic provides cognitive and academic assessments for individuals concerned about cognitive/intellectual functioning and/or learning at school who are enrolled in a formal education pathway.

This includes:

  • school-aged children aged 6-16 years,
  • young people attending school aged 16-18 years,
  • adults who have a history of learning difficulties and are currently enrolled in a formal learning program (e.g. university, TAFE).

The Clinic provides basic cognitive assessment, where understanding more about an individual’s cognitive and academic functioning could assist in diagnosis, treatment planning, and/or educational or vocational goal setting. We offer cognitive assessment if it occurs in the context of concerns about specific learning difficulties, intellectual difficulties or is the cognitive component of a larger developmental or health assessment/treatment process.

However, please note, we do not conduct diagnostic assessments for ADHD, Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or giftedness.
