Participation in this registry contibutes to a real-world dataset to track how new treatments for Transcranial Magneic Stimulation and Brain Stimulation work.

To take part in the Registry, you will need to be referred by your treating clinician. Your data will contribute to a larger dataset to track how these new treatments are provided in a real-world setting and better understand their safety and efficacy. Once referred by your treating clinician, the following processes will occur:

  1. After your treating clinician has referred you to the Registry, you will receive an email with a link. Clicking on the link will direct you to the online REDCap platform, which contains the Participant Information and Consent Form (PICF). You should read the information sheet and ensure that you understand everything contained in it prior to signing the consent form.
  2. If you consent to participate, you will be sent an email containing the link to the Registry questionnaires, which will ask you a variety of questions about demographics, your current symptoms, and expectations of treatment, among others.
  3. You will be sent a series of questionnaires before, during, and after your treatment.

Participants will be asked to complete online questionnaires at multiple timepoints. If you finish a course of brain stimulation treatment and start again, the follow-up period will start again from baseline. The schedule of data collection is as follows:

  • Baseline
  • Week 2 Follow Up (all based on treatment start date)
  • Week 4 Follow Up
  • Week 6 Follow Up
  • Week 8 Follow Up
  • Week 10 Follow Up
  • 3-Month Follow Up
  • 6-Month Follow Up
  • 9-Month Follow Up
  • 12-Month Follow Up
  • 15-Month Follow Up

Communication of Results

You will be asked during the baseline questionnaire whether you would like to share the results of the questionnaires with your treating clinician. This will be provided to them as a simple table with the questionnaire completed, total score, and date it was completed. These will only be sent to your doctor if you consent and select “Yes” for this question. Results will be sent at week 10 and the end of your follow-up period.
