About

Governments around the world are increasingly interested in evaluating the impact of policy on community wellbeing. This program of research is conducted in collaboration with the ACT Government to enable evidence-based policy decision-making. Our focus is on utilising data linkage across government sectors to analyse and inform new solutions to “wicked” problems in health and education. For example, initial projects are expected to focus on (1) the effect of school-based risk factors on subsequent self-harm and suicidality, and (2) the effect of early life disadvantage on educational outcomes.
