Parkinson's ACT

Parkinson’s ACT aims to promote the well-being and interests of people living with Parkinson’s and their families, friends and carers in the ACT and nearby regions. They are a voluntary, not-for-profit organisation providing information, support and education for people living with Parkinson’s.

Parkinson’s ACT offers a wide variety of activities. They run five different support groups, sponsor two dance groups and a painting group, publish a monthly bulletin, provide information seminars and contribute to Parkinson’s research. They are keen to establish other groups and activities as opportunities arise and a younger onset group has also been established.
