Dr Michael Lau is a Sydney-based Consultant Psychiatrist. He obtained his early medical degree from the United Kingdom and subsequently Masters of Medicine Psychiatry from University of Sydney. He is Fellow of the Royal Australia and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists, an Affiliate of Royal Australia College of Medical Administration and is trained in Addiction and Adult Psychiatry (Mood Disorder, Anxiety Disorder, Body Dysmorphia, PTSD, Psychosis, Personality Disorder and Somatoform Disorders).

At Monarch Mental Health Group, Dr Lau dedicated his attention to neuromodulation treatment in mental illness. He has been providing expert opinion on rTMS, tDCS and has research interest in next-step medication.
