Matthew is currently studying the combined MChD/PhD degree. His PhD in fundamental science is investigating the overlap between type 1 and type 2 diabetes as well as potential new drug targets for diabetes. He will graduate from the Doctor of Medicine and Surgery Program (MChD) in 2021.
Outside of study he plays soccer for Canberra FC and supports Collingwood in the AFL.
