About

Dr Chhabra is a general surgeon with subspecialty training in surgery of the liver, biliary tree and pancreas in addition to advanced upper gastrointestinal surgery and therapeutic endoscopy. He graduated from the University of Sydney after completing an undergraduate degree in Medical Science followed by his Graduate studies in Medicine and Surgery. He has also completed a Ph.D. in Medicine and is an avid researcher and educator. After obtaining his Fellowship in General Surgery with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, he undertook further subspecialty training in UGIT, HPB and Transplant Surgery at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Bankstown-Lidcombe and Liverpool Hospitals in addition to St. James University Hospital in Leeds, United Kingdom. Dr Chhabra currently manages patients at Sydney Adventist Hospital in Sydney and at Gosford Public Hospital, Wyong Public Hospital and North Gosford Private Hospital on the Central Coast.
