Professor Imogen Mitchell is Executive Director of Research & Academic Partnerships, with Canberra Health Services, and Professor at ANU School of Medicine and Psychology.  Professor Mitchell is a Senior Specialist in the Intensive Care Unit at Canberra Hospital.

Professor Mitchell was previously Director of the ANU Medical School from 2017 to 2020, Deputy Director Medical School from 2014 to 2016, Associate Dean Phase 2 Medical Program from 2012 to 2014 and Medical School Associate Dean Admissions from 2008 to 2011.
