About
Fergus is a health executive and academic with experience in military, emergency, and public health leadership. He has led major national health initiatives, including overseeing national pandemic response, which have supported more than 400 remote communities with treatment and vaccination access. His work focuses on health promotion, disease prevention, outbreak investigation, and the development of clinical interventions for at risk populations across Australia. In addition to his operational leadership roles, he has contributed to numerous research projects aimed at improving health outcomes in hard to reach populations, reflecting a sustained commitment to community led health improvement and service.
