Dr Rachael Anforth is a Specialist Dermatologist and Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists based in Canberra ACT.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine from the University of Newcastle in 2008, Dr Anforth completed her Intern and Resident years at Westmead Hospital, Sydney. Following this Dr Anforth completed a PhD in the skin side effects of BRAF Inhibitors used in the treatment of melanoma through the University of Sydney and Western Clinical School (Westmead Hospital), while concurrently participating in a number of clinical trials and research projects all within the Dermatology field. In particular Dr Anforth was involved in the diagnosis and management of skin toxicities of systemic oncology agents and has published widely on this topic.
Dr Anforth undertook her specialist training in adult and paediatric dermatology throughout NSW/ACT including Orange Dermatology, The Skin Hospital Darlinghurst, St Vincents Hospital, The Canberra Hospital and Royal North Shore Hospital. During her training she developed special interests in high risk melanoma and hair disorders.
