About

Karlee is a clinical pharmacist with extensive experience in critical care and winner of the Australian Clinical Pharmacy award in 2023. With many years of experience Karlee now consults on optimising teams and leadership for multiple health organisations. Karlee’s focus is on developing strong teams to improve the experience of healthcare professionals, and therefore healthcare consumers. 

Karlee’s PhD focused on the experiences of Australian pharmacists during the COVID-19 pandemic, with a specific interest in burnout in this cohort. Following from this research Karlee has continued to research burnout and possible interventions to better support healthcare professionals in their work. In line with this work, Karlee is also interested in the utility of interprofessional practice to support health professional wellbeing.
