Seed fund for co-developing research with consumers
Good research in health and psychology is inclusive of consumers and community.
Consumers expect it, and so do grant funders. However, engaging with consumers in the early stages of research development can be difficult if you don't have dedicated funds. The SMP Seed Fund for Consumers and Community in Research is designed to support researchers to work with consumers and community to co-develop research it its earliest stages. Grants to a maximum of $800 per project will be available to researchers, from a seed pool of $5000 per year, to work with consumers and community to build a research project. There is no deadline, and applications will be considered every month.
Applications are welcome from SMP staff, including postdoctoral researchers.
