Associate Professor Lillian Smyth
Lillian Smyth (BA, BSc(Psychology)(Hons), MCouns, PhD, SFHEA) works in applied social psychology, education, and health systems. She takes an interdisciplinary, mixed-methods approach to researching social, self-concept and learning processes in the wild.
Presentation: Non-group social identities: when and for whom are they of value? This talk presents data from 6 datasets exploring real-world self- concept structure and content and their relationship to wellbeing
Dr Radhika Butalia
Dr Radhika Butalia is currently an Alexander von Humboldt Research Fellow at Goethe University Frankfurt. Her research interests lie at the intersection of social, cross-cultural, health, and sport psychology. More specifically, her work examines the implications of social identity approaches to health and leadership for group members and group functioning across cultures. She is also the founder and coordinator of the Cross-Cultural Research on Leadership in Sport Network (CROLIS - https://www.leadinginsights.be/en/research/crolis), an international collaboration comprising 51 researchers across 14 countries.
