Associate Professor Anna Olsen will describe her current program of research with a focus on her translational research in drug overdose prevention. This includes the evaluation of novel community health interventions providing naloxone to people who use opioids and drug checking to people who use drugs at festivals. Anna will also discuss the design and implementation of these socially and politically complex projects along with the benefits of mixed methods and community collaboration.
